Smartboard + Nearpod

Last Thursday(10/1), we integrated two APPs in the English class.

上個星期四，我們在英語課結合了兩個應用程式來上課

First, I explained the grammar in the text book.

首先，我解釋課本中的文法規則

Second, I opened the Smartboard file with the teacher's computer.

再來，我用教師桌機開啟Smartboard檔案

Meanwhile, kids used their mini-ipad to log into Nearpod.

同時，孩子則使用ipad登入Nearpod的虛擬教室

I  presented the question on the whiteboard with Smartboard APP.

我利用Smartboard在教室前面的大白板上呈現題目

Kids gave answers with Nearpod APP.

孩子則藉由Nearpod傳送答案

Here are some kids' answers.

下面是孩子們的作答

At stage 1, we practiced verb tense pair-up.

第一關，我們練習動詞時態的配對

At stage 2, we tried to fill the gap in every sentence.

第二關，我們練習完成句子

We would check and correct kids' answers together. 

我們會全班一起檢討答案

It's a brand new trial for kids and me.

對孩子和我來說這是全新的嘗試

Most of kids had done great jobs in the lesson.

孩子都表現得很好呦~~

Reflection: 1. Kids would lose their patience while checking everyone's answer on the screen.

當針對每個孩子的答案進行檢討時，孩子會喪失耐心和專注力

I should randomly choose 5-6 kids' answers for checking.

我應該隨機挑選5-6位學生的答案進行檢討，

Instead of checking every answers, randomly choosing and checking is more efficient.

不用每一題每個人的答案都看，以節省時間，提高效率

2. Through this APP, I could monitor kids' spelling and writing immediately.

透過這個應用程式，我可以立即監控學生的拼寫能力

And I got the chance to correct the common mistakes or clarify misunderstanding.
