Using Board Game in English Lesson Class 605

Today we were using this board game in the  English class.

I divided kids by  4 persons in one group.

Four colorful corners are the starting spots for 4 players.

Every player will get 3 Lego blocks.

The player put their Legos on the starting spots.

Red Lego blocks go to the red corner, and so on.

There was one plastic egg for each group.

Players took turns to roll the dice.

Kids moved their Lego blocks

The Lego blocks could only move on the pictures but not on the corners.

The player stopped on the picture.

And answered question "Where did you go last weekend?"

When one player pass the others,

He could get one block from the others.

The winner is the one who won the most Lego blocks.

Kids had tons of fun while playing the board game.

Here are some photos and clips I recorded in class 605

Reflection: 1.Kids would too focus on getting Lego blocks to  reading aloud the English sentences.

I would need to walked around the classroom and remind them all the time.

2. The player who lost all Lego blocks at the first is boring.

I asked the player who have no Legos to be responsible for asking question.

And monitoring the other player.

Work Cited: The board game was adapted from "Zicke Zacke"
