Cootie Catcher Review Activity

Before the midterm exam,

在考試前

we used this activity to review the sentences and vocabulary.

我們用了東西南北這個小童玩來複習英語單字及句型

It combines the cootie catcher and lottery ticket together.

這個活動結合了「東西南北」和「樂透彩劵」的遊戲機制

First of all, kids asked the English question and played the cootie catcher 

首先，孩子互問英語句子並說出答案，

Kids spelled the vocabulary and moved the flaps 

接著孩子說出答案並且拼讀單字

Finally they would get 4 numbers.

根據說出的答案打開「東西南北」會得到4組數字

Kids wrote down the numbers on the sheet.

孩子在學習單上寫下得到的4組數字

At the end of the course, Ms. Shiu would announce the four numbers.

下課前，老師會公布她的4組數字

Kids who wrote down the same numbers would be the winner!

跟老師數字一樣的孩子就是贏家

My students love to play the cootie catcher and get the numbers.

同學們都非常努力的拼讀單字取得不同數字

And the best of the activity was kids spelled the target vocabulary over and over again. 

最棒的是，孩子在活動過程中不斷的練習英語單字拼讀

We were loving it~~
